If you’re logged into iCloud on your device, Days Since stores your events in your personal iCloud account for your privacy and security. This also allows the syncing of your data between all of your devices.
If you no longer want to store your events in the cloud, you can follow the instructions below to transfer them to your device.
Note, if you do this and delete the Days Since app, your events will be permanently lost.
Open Days Since and create a backup file.
Tap on the gear in the upper left
Scroll to the bottom & tap on Export Data > Days Since Backup
Save the backup to the Files app
In Days Since, tap Close to return to your event list & then delete each one.
This removes them from the cloud
Swipe from right to left (or press & hold) on each event to delete it
Return to your Home Screen & open the Settings app.
Tap on your name at the top
Tap on “iCloud”
Tap on “See All” next to Saved to iCloud
Scroll down to Days Since and turn the switch off
Days Since will no longer add anything to your iCloud account
Open the Files app
Tap on your backup file
Follow the instructions on screen and tap the arrow, then select Days Since
Follow any on-screen prompts to restore your Days Since Backup
Your events are now stored locally on your device
